Sue Martin has been training dressage horses and teaching dressage for more than 40 years. She has developed more than 50 FEI level horses including 18 to the Grand Prix.  Sue has been riding in CDI level competition since the 1990s, winning regional and national awards.  She has qualified for the Festival of Champions six times and attended three.

While her first love and passion is riding and devloping horses, Sue also has a strong desire to share knowledge through her teaching and coaching.  She has coached many riders through competition from training level to Grand Prix, helping them realize their goals and potential.  She is happy to work with horses and riders of all levels with the result of a happy horse and rider partnership.

Sue has a vast education and has worked extensively with Steffen Peters, Debbie McDonald, Christine Traurig, Morten Thomsen, Axel Steiner, Conrad Schumaker, Sue Blinks, Olivia Lagoy Weltz and many others. She has also gone to great lengths educating herself to understand horse management including veterinary care, farrier work, nutrition, and equine behavior.

Sue has recently relocated back to Colorado after 15 years training and competing in California CDIs.  Since returning to Colorado, she has been busy with a small training barn and giving clinics all over Colorado and the United States. She is currently developing and competing several horses to the FEI levels and coaching many riders at home and in competition.
